On August first, two thousand one, the night fell alseep and out came the sun, but something was differant this morning, this time, the sun it was hott but times nintey nine! And people woke up with their thick dripping sweat, scared and confused as to why their all wet. As they looked out the window at the sun beaming down, They noticed the melting of half of their town. Their cars to the ground and houses half gone, and small fetal cats lay dead on their lawn. So people are screaming and packing their bags, and some running naked wearing only cold rags. The sun was relentless and stood its ground, and beamed so hard you could hear the heats sound. fires broke out as the sun sent more, and it burned and it burned like the suns very core. Rivers began to boil, and lakes, and pools, down went the buildings, the houses, the schools. The fires kept going, ordered by the sun, and when people thought it was over, it screamed Im not done! so it burned up the bank, and devoured some people, knocked out churches, leaving nothing but the steeple. And the people they hurried to escape the blaze, but the town was nothing but a smoke filled haze. But soon night fell and the sun had to leave, but not before burning a couple more trees. So people stood up and looked at the scene, "Another day in Bullhead." one said, as they started to clean. copyright 2000
